Jesus Christ: The High Priest

Over the House of God

Pastor Emeka Egwuchuku

1. There is a witness of the Lord that this year is going to mark the beginning of the rise of an incorruptible people. This word is not for the exclusive few – it is for everybody in the Body, even though not everyone will at first receive this. The Lord will give it to a crop first – and we are the first fruit of the word of righteousness. This does not mean that we are better than others, but there is a responsibility left of us to hold the doctrine, even the mystery of the Son of God that is being delivered to us (1 Tim. 3:8-9). If we hold onto it, there is an assurance that the rest of the Body will come into these things. Not too long from now, the rest of the Body will come into these things.

2. Matt. 16:18 – The Builder can either be a Levite, a Priest, or a High Priest. The Lord as a Levite comprises seasons of preparation to achieve that building. The period of Christ also consists of seasons of preparation to make lively stones (1 Pet. 2:5). The season of Christ is the season of making us stones – turning us from grass to stones (1 Pet. 1:24). The conversation of Christ is to make us lively stones at different degrees until we become living stones. A living stone is the best of the stones; this is the stone of the living God. The Lord is coming to lively stones to make them living and abiding. ‘Living and abiding’ is also a stone – it is called a sure foundation. A sure foundation is what God can trust because it is sure. Sure foundations are living stones (Isa. 28:16).

3. Man is a building. Adam was a building that God finished. God formed him but finished him as a living soul, waiting to receive His things (Gen. 2:7). There are two things the High Priest will do: He will build us and give us an inheritance (Acts 20:32). Adam was formed and finished, but God wanted him to go through a process where He would be able to release His things in him.

4. The Tree of Life is the tree of Eternal Life; if the tree was just a shadow and type, God would not have chased Adam out of the Garden. The tree was real and also a physical tree that Adam could take and eat from. The process of a living soul taking from the Tree of Life is what was fearful to Adam – it is possible Adam saw this process, got scared, and then took an alternative (Gen. 3:6-7). Sin is an alternative; it is an alternative life and conversation. Satan offered Adam an alternative, and the essence of the alternative was to crack him down as a building from being what God wanted him to be.

5. Many of us are hearing majestic things but may not use it. We can hear Christ and still use milk to live (Heb 5:13). There are times we hear a higher word but resort to using milk as an escape route. We must be able to hold and stay with God’s word. Some people are hearing the doctrine of Christ but when challenges come they run to Egypt (their former approach to life); this is because they are not yet using what they are hearing, but the Lord wants us to use what we are hearing.

6. Heb. 5:13 – We can only be skillful with milk and the word of righteousness when we are no longer babes, and God knows we are no more babes by what we use as life. We can know our placement in the spirit, whether we are babes or not, by checking what we use as the light for our living – that is, what we resort to for strength. Satan cracked down the building in Adam by introducing another conversation. The light of life Adam used in Eden is not what men are using today and that is why there are not many living souls on the Earth anymore.

7. Matt. 16:18 – The person building is the High Priest: He is the only One who understands the dimension of the building that God can dwell in. The High Priest will build and He will bring His things, which are the things of His Father; hence, the Lord as the High Priest is the architect of the house (Heb. 3:1-2). Moses was faithful in all his house – Israel was to be made a house of God. The tent which was pitched in their midst was because the people could not arrive at that place where they could house God – the essence of the building was for God to dwell amongst them; but before God can dwell, He has to build (Exo 29:45). Israel was to be the house of God.

8. Eph. 2:19 – God is not going to use strangers to build, He will not use foreigners; these strangers and foreigners are describing souls. A child of God, regenerated in his spirit can still be a stranger in his soul. The identity of a man is in the soul. The light we use as light designates who we are in our souls whether or not we are strangers and foreigners. As we journey, who we are will begin to show, and as it shows, the Lord will demand repentance from us. We have to be made citizens with the saints and turned from strangers to fellow citizens.

9. Acts 6:3 – These men were not just men who were speaking in tongues, but they had risen to a point where they could be called children of the Holy Ghost, and they were always ghosted and always giving thanks. Today, we still find people speaking in tongues, and they live worldly. Such people are strangers and foreigners – a soul can be a stranger and a foreigner (Eph. 2:19) – and they will not participate in the household of God if they remain so. To receive the Holy Ghost as a seal on our soul is to receive His person; at this point, people around will know because we will be men of honest report.

10. Papa Hagin was a man of the Holy Ghost; Daddy Adeboye is also a man of the Holy Ghost, and what developed them was the sincere milk. Sincere milk is not found everywhere; it is those who are journeying after this pattern that God will use to restore it to the church, and we will be able to have Jesus meetings when we receive Him as a seal in our souls. The way we have Holy Ghost meetings will be the same way we’ll have Jesus meetings consistently, and in certain conversations, the idols of the heart will drop.

11. One thing about staying under long teachings is that there is always something in us that makes us restless but after a while, we become at home with the teachings. The things that make us restless are laws – laws of sin and death, in their different shades and forms, which can attend meetings with us. These laws are powerful, and they are inside us. They are the things that are strangers in us, and they make us drift away in our thoughts because we need to hear and acquire another law for our souls to live (Isa. 55:3). For our souls to live, the laws that make us agitated during meetings must have been detonated.

12. Eph. 2:19 – Household is talking about the administration of God. Our Lord Jesus as the High Priest is the one who is authorized by the throne of God to administer God (Heb. 10:21). In the season of the children of Israel, the only one who was authorized was Moses, who was faithful in all his house (Heb. 3:2). This means that Moses was faithful in administering God to Israel. Everything that Israel became eventually flowed from Moses. He was like the mediator and administrator to bring the things of God – what will make Israel a holy nation is not with Israel; left to themselves, they would never be the house of God (Exo. 19:5-6). Like Moses was authorized to bring things, Jesus was made the High Priest of good things to come, and those good things were to build a house for God.

13. Deut. 18:15 – Although Moses was not called a high priest, he operated in that office perfectly without taking the name; it wasn’t necessary. Before the Tabernacle was built, he had a tabernacle, which he entered into. He was a type of high priest. Our Lord Jesus is called the Apostle and High Priest of our profession (Heb. 3:1), and how the people will hearken to Him is that the Lord your God will raise Him to be a priest.

14. Heb. 3:2 – Moses was held in high esteem because he was faithful in administering God to Israel. The nation of Israel became everything they became through Moses, and God ordained it so. The whole administration was Moses; he was the law, the prophet, the high priest, the lawgiver – he was everything, so every prophet came from his administration. Without Moses, there would not have been such an order of nationhood that Israel had. However, the people were meant to be a house, but they could not qualify, so God built a tent in their midst.

15. There are two things that God wants to give: the building of a people and filling them with His things (Prov. 24:3-4).

16. Eph. 2:20 – There are foundational apostles and prophets, and one of them was Paul. The foundation of the apostles and the prophets is our Lord Jesus Christ, the chief cornerstone – the Lord took time to lay the foundation in them (1 Cor. 3:10). What made prophets and apostles was the foundation they had; He was revealed to them as the foundation of life (Gal. 1:15-16). We will not have foundational apostles again like those that wrote the Bible, but we will have apostles and prophetic ministers who have foundations of Christ at the least. When Christ is our foundation, we will preach nothing else but Christ, and it will always remain fresh. It is what has been founded in us as light that will flow out, and we will not be able to stay away from it.

17. Our Daddy Kumuyi held the doctrine of repentance from dead works such that anything he taught would always culminate there, and this is because that is what was laid in him. The apostles had Christ as a foundation and a work. They could not desist from Christ, lest they become transgressors – that is, to do something against what one has been founded in. When Christ is our foundation, we will not be able to do anything outside Christ, and then when the Son of God becomes the building in us, we’ll become more constrained.

18. Eph. 2:21-22 – There are two buildings, and these buildings are Persons. The first building is the holy temple, which is in the Lord, and it is the foundation for the next. The word ‘also’ in the above scripture means that it is an addition to what has been said; that is, they are not the same thing. The High Priest is the one in charge of building the habitation of God, and He will not build the habitation of God when there is no holy temple in the Lord.

19. Moses was to bring the things of God, and he did; that is, the administration did not fail as long as Moses was there (Heb. 3:2). It is one thing for the things to be brought and another thing for them to be used. There will be no building if we are not using the materials that are being delivered to the site. Building has to do with us – we are built when we use it. The things we are hearing are materials that are being delivered to us, and they are meant to be used as life.

20. The spirits of wisdom and revelation are in charge of delivering the materials (Isa. 11:2). They are the things that the High Priest uses, for He is the custodian. The High Priest has the seven Spirits of God before the throne, and this is the final manifestation of the seven Spirits. The seven Spirits are with the Lord Jesus as seven horns and seven eyes, and He has them as horns and eyes because God Himself constitutes things (Rev. 5:6). They are not yet with us as horns. Horn is a product of a life. Horn is authority. A horn grows out of a being. A horn is a head thing; the same with eyes – they are all head properties. If we are shown the High Priest as he is, we will run because the High Priest interfaces with God, who is the raw energy of life (Heb. 10:21).

21. Rev. 13:1 – The dragon tried to mimic our Lord Jesus. One of the things that the beast had access to was the depth of Satan; Satan gave him authority to come into his depth and take his things so that he could quickly mature souls unto perdition (Rev. 13:2). What will bring about souls arriving at perdition are things of depth; and also, what will bring about the rising of the sons of God who will be the house of God are the depths of God. God is housing things; He is a storehouse that cannot be finished, and that is why we need the High Priest who can search the depths in God and lay them in our souls.

22. Isa. 11:2 – The first two spirits are to gather materials, which must be turned to counsel and might. Just as nobody could become anything in Israel without Moses, that is how it is with our Lord Jesus. The seven Spirits are the Spirits to receive the materials from God. That Spirit will come to us to teach us; it is still the Lord as that Spirit who will teach us.

23. Eph. 3:16 – The things of God are riches. God will not dwell on anything that is not made of His materials. The Spirits of wisdom and revelation deliver the building materials to the sites –every one of us is a site that is not yet built. We become sites when we become fellow citizens with the saints (Eph. 2:19). As we have ‘omo onílè’ in the natural, we also have ‘omo onílè’ in the realm of the spirit. If we do not build our houses, another can come to build in us, and we build our house by use. We use the materials by the Spirit of counsel and might. The Spirit of counsel turns those materials into counsel and might, and then the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord will begin to draw the lines – they are in charge of lines.

24. Eph. 6:13 – To stand is to be built. If we are not built, we are not standing. It is when we stand that we can put on. If there is no erection, there is nothing to hang the armour of God. It is on that building that they will put the helmet of salvation, the shield of faith, the sword of the spirit, the belt of truth, and shoes as preparation for the gospel of peace, and this is called the whole armour of God to be able to withstand against the wiles of the devil.

25. Eph. 3:16-17 – What will make Christ dwell in our minds by faith is the Spirit of might. This faith is faith as life; it is faith as line. What will contain God is Christ, and that is why Christ is the hope of glory because God is the God of glory. We will be further rooted and grounded when Christ comes because we are going to the realm of God. The High Priest wants to build us up and fill us with the fullness of God.

26. Heb. 1:9 – There is something Christ loved, and this is the love of Christ that passes knowledge. What Christ will love passes knowledge (Eph. 3:18-19). He loves things that we cannot see, so we cannot love what He will love if we are not Christ because they surpass knowledge. We need to have eyes to be able to see them, and we need to have the capacity to love them. The love of Christ that passes all knowledge will bring us to a place where we will be filled with all the fullness of God – God has measurements (Eph. 3:18-19).

27. Eph. 3:20-21 – What God has always wanted to do in the church is the same as in the Old Testament, just like how all that God wanted to do was in Israel, and when he raised Moses, it was for the sake of Israel. The Lord is already seeing our end. He can do exceeding abundantly even when we are not thinking about it. God raised Moses for the house of Israel, and he intended to dwell in them; Israel was God’s firstborn (Exo. 4:22).

28. Right now God is dwelling amidst angels, but then He will vacate from them and dwell amidst man because man has been his project all along (Rev. 21:3). He is not yet dwelling in the church because we don't have what it takes to house Him at the moment. For us to house Him, we will be raised by the High Priest over the house where His materials are, in whom also is God’s house (John 14:9-10). God raised a priest who will be able to see what is in Him, receive it, and then give it to men so that when He transfers it into men and raises it to be exactly like what is in God, God will now enter. It is only the high priest over the house that can know how to collect the things. He knows the measurements and how to administer them till they are completely emptied in man. The fruit of the womb is not just the natural birth of children but also being born of God (Ps. 110:3).

29. It is God's intention to build His church, and this is what He is doing presently in the body. The revelation of the High Priest is first to build, and when he has finished building, He will give his laws for to make a covenant. This is the vision of God from the beginning. God has always been looking for a house. As Jesus is carrying the fullness of God, we too will carry the fullness of God (Isa. 66:1).

Interpretation of Tongues 1

It is a sound; it is a sound. It is sounding. I am sounding because I want to install something in your mind. I want something installed in your mind. This ought to be minded. You should give attention to this; you should mind these things, mind it; this is your framing, it is your making, this is how you will be made; these are stones that need to be put in places to frame you. This is how I put things in your mind; you hear them, they stay. Stay them in your mind.”

Fight to mind these things, fight to mind them. Fight to give attention; fight for your attention; don't be drifted away. Fight to follow; follow it in your mind. Engage your mind in this course, engage in these thoughts, it is what makes for your framing”, saith the Spirit.

Interpretation of Tongues 2

For you see, God is a fountain; God is the fountain; God is the unending fountain springing forth. All of His springs find a home in Me. I am the very likeness of My Father. I am His Michael; I am His own Michael; I am His own very likeness, His own messenger, His own sent one. He sent Me to take His fountain, to take all of His springs, to put all of His springs in all of man; this oracle speaking is finding a home in your midst; it is finding a place of abode, a place of expression in the midst of man.”

I found a land; I eventually found a land where I can be built; it is in the soul of man. It is in your soul; it is in the midst of a people that have journeyed, a people that I have called to be My own, a people that I am laying hold on; a people upon whom My jealousy is burning. I call you unto Myself; it is unto Myself that I call you; it is unto Myself. Myself is what you should be; Myself should be emptied into you. I found you for such a project. It is a project that has been in My heart before the beginning began; it is now finding expression in your own day. Oh, My heart is glad”, saith the Lord.

My heart is glad that now I am building, I am raising, I have stepped in to build, I am here to build, I am here to raise; to raise with all of the springs of My Father, in a place where all of the springs in My Father will find full expressions in the souls of man. I am here to build. Partake of this building; let us do this together: take of Me, use Me, live of Me, live with Me, use My things to live, use these things to live.”

You have a glorious future, a very glorious day ahead of you. You have the destiny to carry all of the springs of My Father, even of My God”, saith the Lord Jesus.
