The Revelation of the Faith

that is in Christ Jesus

1. Every man has faith. Faith is a general belief, it is a general trust. Every man has a belief; but when God brought Jesus, faith began to take a new shape and operation. A people came into a system called faith because of what they have heard, and from there, they could generate trust. Rom. 10:17 – When the word comes, it generates faith in us after being mixed with our acceptance. If we do not accept it, faith will not be generated. To believe is to accept it as true.

2. Gal. 3:23 – This faith to be revealed is the faith in Christ Jesus. Jesus has a faith in Him – there is a faith that is in Christ Jesus and it has to be taught. This faith brings sanctification (Acts 26:18). Sanctification is to be separated from something unto something. A man can not claim to only be separated from sin and not be separated unto God. Faith in Christ Jesus takes us (self) away from us.

3. There is a faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and this faith is not for getting things, it is a faith for salvation. Being born again is the beginning of salvation. Salvation is a syllabus for learning, and the head of the faculty is Jesus Himself. That is why He is the captain of our salvation (Heb. 2:10).

4. God has a Son to who He will transmit His entire power called Christ. Likewise, the devil also has a son to whom he will transmit his dominion and power called the antichrist. This is why building is important and why the Lord brought this theme to us this year. Whenever the High Priest is mentioned, it is for building. His job is for inward work and not outward work – that is where things are done and given. God cares about the people He is investing in.

5. Exo. 23:20-21 – Angels have properties of God in them. That is why what accords their names is usually ‘El’, like Michael and Gabriel. They have the authority of God so when they give command to men, it is the will of God; they cannot deviate from the mind of God, anyone who can relate to this dimension is a son.

6. Exo. 4:27-28 – A portion was taken from the spirit of Moses unto Aaron and he translated into a spirit by it. Moses had his own tent of meeting the Lord; it was out of him that a portion was given to Aaron in which he was ordained a high priest. This means Moses is higher than Aaron. Moses was an apostle and a high priest. The intention of him leading the children of Israel was to build them up so that God would come and dwell in their midst. The house Moses built was not just any house, it was the house of God – the house of gold. Gold is a spiritual expression of the divine nature of God, using the highest metal of the Earth.

7. The blessing that a priest carries is life. Life is used to build – and the essence of the building is that God might be formed. The reason for the building is so that God can come. Gal. 4:19 – A formation occurs when there is life. In producing a child, what is transferred from a man into a woman is the man's life but the elements involved do not just come from the man, the woman’s properties are also involved. Likewise, in forming life in us, the resources do not only come from God – the word must also mix with faith in us (Heb. 4:2).

8. Heb. 3:1 – Faith in Christ Jesus is our profession, not just faith. That is what Jesus is a priest over. Our profession is what we profess; nobody can be a professional if he has not professed something. And we do not become professionals because we like the course but because we have gone through training and learning. Learning is what confers on us the title that we are professionals. We cannot handle some degrees if we have not gone through training, and we undergo this training so that we do not become ashamed when our knowledge is needed.

9. It becomes dangerous when the person God wants to use has himself in the agenda. Moses had his own things, but God had to purge him of them before calling him to minister to Israel. Only a free man can free others, but a bondman will bind others. This is the reason for training and learning; Jesus obtained eternal salvation by what He learned – we cannot attain that same salvation by claiming. Some persons may be in Church all their lives and not change because they did not give themselves to learning. We know the High Priest has done His job when He produces a sample called salvation. Salvation does not just mean deliverance from sin.

10. Righteousness is a way of life; it is the essence of the divinity that was given to keep and lead us until we get to the end of the faith which is the salvation of our souls. Hence, we should not run away because the High Priest is working. It is the duty of the High Priest to purge – He knows how to purge, and when He purges, He does so with His things, such that at the end, we become purified and better, and we are no longer enemies of God in our minds. Some people are children of God in their spirit but enemies of God in their minds.
