(Day 5 – Second Evening Session)
The Making of Majestic Sons
by the Testimony of Jesus Christ
Rev. Kayode Oyegoke
1. Life is a business. Jesus’ business is life, and the Father’s business is life. There is only one business now because Heaven and Earth will pass away, but His life will not pass away (Luke 2:49, 21:33). Precious stones and gold will perish – any other business, including church business, will perish, but life does not perish. Life business reaches the world to come; it will not stop. Jesus transacts with His business, and He gives breath in exchange. God prepares His ministers secretly so that He can profit, He loves them because they help to extend His Life (His business). God will shut you down If you want to shut down His business. God wants us to profit, so we should start the business of our Father now.
2. The person sitting on the Throne is a High Priest who is set on the right hand of the Majesty (Heb. 8:1). The right hand of the Throne is not a different seat – it is not another throne beside God's throne; it depicts positioning. You cannot sit on the Throne by yourself; you have to be granted the right. The Throne is not a small, tiny throne; it is massive. After Jesus overcame, He was set on His Father’s throne (Rev. 3:21). To set somebody is to make him sit. Jesus did not just go and sit on the Throne; there are protocols to sitting, which means things were done for Him to sit.
3. Stephen saw Jesus standing at the right hand (Acts 7:55-56). Jesus is usually seated, but on that day, He stood for Stephen's sake because of the way he (Stephen) defended the name of the Lord. Heaven opened when he bore witness and testimony of the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and he saw Jesus standing and not seated – Jesus accorded Stephen an honor.
4. Heb. 8 elucidates to us that we have a High Priest who is set on the throne of the Majesty in the Heavens. Jesus is not just one who sits on the Throne; He is also a minister of the Sanctuary and True Tabernacle. From the Throne, He comes into the True Tabernacle, and from the True Tabernacle, He enters the Sanctuary. His highest calling is the Throne. He is seated on the Throne as a High Priest, so it is a condescension for Him to come to the True Tabernacle from the Throne because He leaves the realm of the Majesty on High.
5. Jesus used the temple in Heaven, but He first purged it with His Blood to separate it from the angels. The blood of Jesus is the blood of a higher creation. He had to give Heaven the privilege to ensure that the utensils would be pure enough to allow the things He did by sacrifices, that is, His offerings. The present Tabernacle in Heaven is weaker than the Person who came to offer because the offering has been made higher than the Heavens, so He had to purge Heaven’s utensils (Heb. 9:21-24).
6. Jesus wants to raise the capacity of the saints above the Heavens. Our own temple has not yet appeared; it will appear with the new Heavens and the new Earth. Our original temple is God, not a building. God has not yet appeared as a temple due to rules and laws. The power and strength of Satan lie in the present. Satan is weak in the face of the world to come; he cannot participate in the atmosphere because it is a world that is not programmed for angels to express (Heb. 2:5).
7. The world to come is placed after the pattern of God Himself, the originator. God created an inferior world, and He watched an enemy fall. If Satan had fallen in the real world, it would have affected God directly, so He had to create something that is not original. To us, this present world looks original, but they are nothing to God. Jesus knows how to fold up this present world, and He will fold, exchange, and replace them with another (Heb. 1:11-12). The only thing that will not change is the space, but the world in the space will be new. The space will also still be washed; it will not be the same space, and it will have another strength for something new (Rev. 21:1).
8. The sea separates the Heavens and the Earth as a veil, and the sea is around the Earth. The sea will be no longer because God is using its water to preserve the earth. Salt is a preservative, and that is why seawater is not drinkable; however, the new Earth and Heaven would not require water preservation due to its greater perfection. The new Earth will not fall into corruption because it is a perfect world made of higher substances (Rev. 21:1). There will only be rivers, streams, and fountains (Rev. 22:1).
9. Heb. 8:2 – The Minister is also a Priest; if not, there would be no need for Him to be in the Sanctuary. Jesus has the ability to come into the Sanctuary, move into the True Tabernacle, and end up sitting on the Throne. The Throne is on the Ark, which means the hand of the Ark can be extended through the veil into the Sanctuary. The Ark is the end of the journey of the Most Holy.
10. The witness is the Mercy seat. What witnesses to the Ark is the Shekinah, the indwelling weight of God on the Mercy seat. Someone is bearing witness to the ark because it has something inside it called the testimony. The witness is different from the testimony; the witness is from on high. Witness cannot be borne to something contrary to it. The Person bearing witness is One who comes to authenticate that the Ark is carrying His article, and this article is the testimony.
11. The Ark is carrying a spirit of prophecy. A spirit that is not pregnant with prophecy is not yet a testimony, and that is the difference between a covenant and a testimony. Covenant is an agreement done, but it should be done to a place where a spirit is generated to bear testimony. God can give us a spirit, but He intends to generate another through it. Grace is a spirit, but it is to get truth and then life – life is a spirit that is fully done. Testimony is life; it is everlasting life or prophecy.
12. Prophecy is not that you are prophesying; it is what is recorded in the spirit, that is, a lifestyle that the spirit is programmed with. Prophetic life is life. God is not looking for just any kind of life in us but a prophetic life. Everlasting life is a prophetic life. Men with everlasting life are prophets, and if they are prophets, God bears witness (Rev. 11:6). The way of their prophecy is the life of their spirit which they are living; it is the way the spirit is living through them.
13. Prophecy cannot be done without a testament. The dragon is attracted by prophecy. As soon as Satan sees us with the testimony, he makes war with us, and as we war we inherit the testimony because God arranges it for the dragon to be overcome. Therefore, He is always helping us to inherit, thereby making the timing or season shorter. It means we should hold the testimony no matter what until it becomes our own.
14. In Rev. 12:17, the testimony of Jesus has not yet become the testimony of this people, so God’s commandment is the instruction on how to keep the testimony. We cannot be exposed to Satan anyhow; we must have inherited the testimony because it is on this account we overcome him. We must have this prophecy as our genetic code for life. Satan used to be an angel of light, so he is pained and stirred up in jealousy when he sees people who have the testimony.
15. There are things written in the spirit (Rev. 1:2-3). Testimony is different from the word of God. Testimony is a book out of blood. It is easier to read the word of God, but it is more difficult to read the word in the blood – to read the testimony in the blood. We need something more to read the testimony in the blood; we need schooling to read blood. By the training of the word of God, we can begin to read what is in the testimony. Reading testimony is reading spirit and studying nature. We are coming to a place where we will study spirits and what they contain, such as the programs and things written in books.
16. Until God sees testimony, He will not bear witness. It is through the testimony that we will overcome the dragon. When we overcome the dragon, we will be caught up to God and to His throne (Rev. 12:5). Jesus, as a High Priest, sat on the throne (Heb. 8:1). Nobody gets caught up to God without God; we must have God in our lives to be caught up to Him and to His throne; God must have been our God (2 Cor. 6:16).
17. Jesus is higher than the heavens (Heb. 8:1). To be high means higher than Heaven. Jesus was made higher than the heavens because He was steadily receiving things; Jesus is many things of all things – there are many ‘all things’ in different levels in Him.
18. We cannot ascend the throne through bribery. Satan wanted to use violence to sit on the throne but he was not allowed. The ordinances of sitting on the throne are already written. The first ordinance is found in Heb. 5:4, but Satan was a man who took the honour to himself – God never gave any angel this honour (Heb. 1:13). God never declared Heb. 1:4-5 to any of the angels, but one took it upon himself to be like the Most High. He was aiming for the image that can sit on the throne (Isa. 14:13-14). The Throne is more than a physical seat design; it is a dominion. Satan wanted to raise the capacity of his dominion above the cherubims and be like the Most High. He was looking for likeness – materials, and things that could make him like God, but Jesus was made the image and the likeness of God, which was what Lucifer was looking for.
19. One can be a beloved son, and yet God will not give him the Throne because He has to overcome. God gave the throne to David. By David, Jesus came into flesh, and He inherited the throne as a man. The route of David is to give the throne to man, showing men how they can sit on the throne (Ps. 132:12). Lucifer wanted to overcome – to come over. We have to come over to come into image. God is calling heavenly brethren to come and look like Him (Heb. 3:1). Jesus ended up sitting on the throne of David. God gave His Eternal Throne to David because He loved Him, although He knew David would not sit on it; he only tied him to it so that Jesus would have access to it.
20. The covenant and testimony are the keys to sitting on the Throne. The excellent ministry of Jesus is mainly for making men sit on the Throne. The key to the Throne is the covenant of God and His testimony, and any man who has these two will sit on the Throne.
21. When we hear ‘round about the Throne,’ it is to tell us that the Throne is an oracle. Jesus did not sit on the Throne without obeying the principles of obeying the oracles of God. Oracles is actually the seat of God. The Mercyseat is actually called the place of the oracle (1 Kings 8:6). The Throne of God is a seat of mercy; it is weaved with Eternal Life. God sits on the oracle; He is a priest, and that is why it is only a priest that can approach Him. You have to be priestly weaved to sit. It takes a high priest to sit with God. If Jesus is like God, then God is also a High Priest. God raised a Priest higher than angels. He taught Him more than angels and gave Him more than angels have.
22. If God designs a man for something great and he is not willing, He can redesign such a person. It is not that He will kill the person, it is just making him unfit for Eternal Life. It is not that God hates all men but their design is just different. Some people might not be able to do this message because that is not what they are designed for. When God puts us in a place, we should not backslide or conclude on doing what other people are doing.
23. A priest is a holy building of God, a sacred house that has its function in the holy things of God. A priest is a man who has been hewn by the oracles of God.
24. The will of God is not letter; it is not knowledge, it is spirit (Col. 1:9), but we cannot come into the will of God without knowledge. When one refuses knowledge, one will perish, but when one receives it, one will come to priesthood (Hos. 4:6). A priest is a building of the law of grace and truth; what makes for a building is truth.
25. Law is the spirit of our God (Ezek. 36:26). The law came from Moses, but grace and truth is the law of the Son of God (John 1:17). When the knowledge of Christ is being taught, we are receiving spirit because Christ is being formed in souls. The oracles of God are laws (Heb. 5:12). The first principle of the oracles of God is milk, so milk is not letter, it is a spirit. There is the letter of the milk, there is the spirit of the milk, and there is the word of the milk. That word is also spirit; milk is spirit. Jesus drank milk from His childhood till age 12, and He got understanding (Luke 2:42; 46-47). He used milk so well that He grew and could reason the same way Stephen was reasoning, so it means that Stephen was twelve years old in the spirit at that time (Acts 6:8-11). The young boy of twelve years was only the one who grew well in his natural age, nobody else grew like Him. The doctors of the word, who were Jews, could not stand the Spirit that was upon Jesus.
26. You cannot come into oracles if you are not knowledgeable. Knowledge is the discipline for the spirit; a lot of spiritual theory is really needed. Knowledge enlightens our hearts; we need a lot of knowledge to know the spirit. Inside the oracles of God is Christ. Without good milk, one will fail; it is difficult for those who do not have good milk to ascend. The milk of God’s word is a Person – Jesus. It is the first principle of the oracles of God, then afterward Christ, and then from there, the Son of the Living God. The oracles must be laid on one another to be a full Son.
27. Milk is the name of the Holy Ghost. The name of the Holy Ghost is Jesus, the name of the Son is Christ, and the name of the Father is the Son of God. Before the administration of Christ came, everything that was done by the Apostles was done in the name of Jesus (Acts 4:30). It was Jesus who taught the Apostles milk; those were the secret meetings they had with Jesus. He taught them milk and gave them the commission to teach it, and then after He commissioned them, He sealed them by telling them to receive the Holy Ghost (John 20:21-22).
28. Oracles have a beginning, they start with knowledge – from precepts to lines. It is a movement of lines to life. It takes the interworking of lives that we have received to get to Eternal Life. Eternal Life is the highest oracle of God. The throne of God is the seat of the Spirit of Eternal Life. It is the Throne of the judgment of Eternal Life. We cannot use Eternal Life without God; we cannot sit on the Throne without God. It means Eternal Life is God. We cannot sit on the Throne without Him, lest it devour us. It is a Spirit seat for spirits, for God is a Spirit; so those who will sit on His Throne must be spirits.
29. The High Priest is a quickening Spirit (1 Cor. 15:45); He is an eternal Spirit. When Jesus was being raised, God was raising a quickening Spirit. He transacted His everlasting life to get a quickening Spirit. On the third day, eternal glory came and raised the temple with a quickening Spirit. If you take one Spirit out of Jesus’ body, it is quickening, but He can beat it down to everlasting, to Christ, and to milk.
30. If God can quicken the dead, then He can quicken the spirit (Isa. 57:15). God can revive spirits. To revive means to make it better. God can give us all things and then quicken it. God can quicken a christ and make him everlasting (1 Tim. 6:13). We keep Christ until the Son of God appears to quicken (1 Tim. 6:14).
