Obtaining Eternal Statutes by Acquisition of Everlasting Life

1. The Son of God has both Everlasting Life and Eternal Life. The only Begotten Son of God is an Eternal being. The gift that God gave to man is an eternal personality. This gift shows us what God is expecting from man; He gave the only Begotten Son for a purpose. He gave to us ‘O God’ so that we can believe in ‘O God’ and have what He has. Everything that O God has is for man. We did not have everlasting life when we got born again; to have everlasting life is a process.

2. Satan did not come to Eve in love because he cannot love, he came to steal, kill, and destroy. God intends to raise men to be like Him, likewise, Satan intends also to raise men to be like him, and that is destruction. Any man who can grow up and become like Satan is ruined, just like the antichrist. Satan showered love on the antichrist; he gave him his seat, and he gave him his authority, not knowing that he had been ruined (Rev. 13:2).

3. The brethren in 1 Cor. 3:1-2 were born again but were carnal. A baby cannot have everlasting life: meat is given to a child after taking milk well to make him christ - spiritual. When we got born again, we did not have everything even though the Bible says “For God so love the world that He gave…” but people take that Scripture as if it is a reality in their lives now.

4. We cannot believe in the only Begotten Son when we get born again, rather when we got born again, we believed in the Lord Jesus. A child cannot believe in the only Begotten Son; he does not have the ability and needs some growth (1 Cor. 3:1-2).

5. Eternal life is the essence of Godhood. A babe cannot be brought to learn eternal life, he has to start from the beginning. Learning is not just to have information, it is so that we can live – so that we can obey those things that we are learning. It is the obedience that makes us become.

6. If you do not take good milk you cannot receive the next allocation, rather you will just have information but will not be able to use it. The early Church moved from milk to meat and from meat to strong meat; they made so much progress. For instance, the Hebrew Church could have their senses exercised by ‘the reason of use’; this Church made progress, they used milk, meat, and strong meat. Strong meat is the substance of everlasting life and this is for Salvation.

7. These teachings are coming so that faith in the invisible will be created in us. The enemy blinded the eyes of man to stop us from seeing the invisible whereas we are supposed to be beings of the invisible. When man fell, Satan cut him off; his eyes were open, but in the real sense, his eyes were closed (Gen. 3:7).

8. We should compare ourselves with those who are chasing the invisible, not those who are chasing the visible. We cannot chase the invisible if we are not seeing the invisible. We live by what we see. The reason they are preaching the gospel of everlasting life to us now is so that we can see it, our hearts can believe it and we can be passionate about it.

9. There is ‘all things’ created and there is ‘all things’ of God. What God is offering us out of His love is not all things created - all things that God created will perish (2 Pet. 3:10), so He is not offering man things that will perish. He that has all of God is at an advantage over he that has all things that God created because all of God will alter a person. If a person takes all of God, the soul of such will be found.

10. We will not be able to connect the next allocation when we do not take milk; milk is very important (Heb. 5:13). Presently, most Christians are not properly raised with milk, they are born again but they still live like unbelievers. What they claim to be Church do not feed them with milk. Church should not be a place of fueling the ambition of the world.

11. It is the Life in the Son that will prevent us from perishing and this should be the preoccupation of every believer. What we have will perish but when we become, we will take it to the world to come and will receive the reward. The Lord offers us materials needed for our building. The only Begotten Son is a building; He was built and raised by His Father. His Father is dwelling in Him because He was raised as a tabernacle.

12. The Son of God is a raising and He went through a process to arrive at being the Begotten Son of God, He was not born so. If He were born so, God would not have told Joseph to run away with him when He was little. After He grew, no one could take His life from Him (John 10:17-18). The reason for giving us the only Begotten Son is for us to be like the Son of God which is the antidote to perishing. Everlasting Life is anti-perishing. The reason for the Church is to immune us against perishing. We should follow through with the process; we should be patient, learn, and be true to ourselves, we should not claim what we are not.

13. The will of God is that man will become everlasting and eternal: the temple of God. God wants to dwell in man and if we fall short of that dwelling, we would cry. To arrive is to become what God has ordained us to become, not by what man says we should become (1 John 2:17).

14. We should be more passionate about the things of God than other things. We should seek first the Kingdom of God and other things will be added; how it would be added and when it will be added should not be our problem. The only sure way of having our needs met is by engaging the things of God with the whole of our hearts because we are being taken from another economy to the economy of Heaven. Join yourself with what God is doing and you will be blessed!
