Romans 1:3-4 - Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
Hebrews 2:9-10 - But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
From the Scripture above (Romans 1:4); before Jesus came into the office of the High Priest, He went through a process. Jesus could not become the High Priest until He passed through the state of the dead; this is a state that our High Priest desires that every son that will come after His order passes through. A man who is not dead does not resurrect; meaning he must first die.
Adam was the first son of God on earth, he was created and birthed by God. God molded Adam and breathe the breath of life into him (Genesis 2:7); the breath is a seed of the life of God. The agenda of God is that Adam will live and not die, but then he died. The agenda of God from the beginning was to make man partake of life. When He created Adam, he was in a default state meaning he was neither immortal nor corrupt; he was in between, he was in a state that he can decide to tilt to any state.
The project of God is to bring man from the state of death to life (John 3:16). The end of the love that God has for man is to give him life. To bring a man of God (Adam) from the state he was will take another man of God, so Jesus was created like Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45). The begotten Son of God is God carrying man, so that at the end of the day, we will be men clothed with divinity. Every man has been held in the captivity of death; Jesus came to the realm of death to defeat death.
Hebrews 2:9, 14 - But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man... Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
Jesus has what it takes to overcome death. Flesh and blood exist in the realm of death; so Jesus came into the state of flesh and blood. The power of death is sin; it is in sin that the program of death is formed. Death uses sin to bring man to his end.
James 1:14-15 - But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Hebrews 2:15 - And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Humanity has been under the bondage of death all this while; that is why God made a man after the likeness of death; so that through His process, He can destroy he that has the power of death (1 Corinthians 15:26). Jesus was made to pass through death before entering His glory.
Philippians 3:9-10 - And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
Paul knew what he was saying here; when you come to this state then you are qualified for resurrection. There are states of death; death in sin (Ephesians 2:1), death to the law (Galatians 2:19) and dead with Christ (Colossians 3:3).
Romans 6:4 - Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
When Jesus was crucified, the old man was crucified with Him, thus, He put an end to the old man. The Faith of the Son is what gives you life (Galatians 2:20); it is from the faith of the Son that a man can move to the next phase of resurrection.
2 Corinthians 13:4 - For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.
There is a living by the faith of the Son of God and the power of God; to come to this reality, you must fellowship with the sufferings of Christ.
Romans 6:10-13 - For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
Every man must come to this state of death; you will not be able to do this successfully until they have opened unto you the faith of the Son; it is this faith that brings you to this alignment. The work of the High Priest is to make us aligned to that which Christ has done, so that we can be cleansed (Colossians 3:5).
Revelation 1:18 - I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Every man must follow suite in this order of living, dead and being alive forever more.
