The Lord of the Harvest - Prayer Meeting Day 3

Zechariah 1:17

Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.

The city that is referred to in the above scripture is both Christ and Everlasting God.

Ephesians 4:11-13

And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

The perfect man is Christ. 'All' in the scripture above isn’t just TLAC; God wants to bring the whole body of Christ. Jesus Christ will never discriminate, He wants to bring all men because that is the reason why He came to earth and died.

Prayer

Lord, let there be an outpouring of Your word in all churches

If we do not pray, God’s purpose will not come to pass. It is an everlasting principle to ask and we shall receive. If we do not pray, we will not receive from the Lord.

Prayer

Lord, let there be an outpouring of Your everlasting gospel upon all the churches in Kwara State.

Lord, let there be a spreading of the word of Righteousness in this territory and Kwara State

Acts 19:20

So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

God can speak to ministers and ministries again; He is the Lord and the owner of the church.

Ephesians 5:23

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Prayer

Lord, visit Your church again and stir up the angel of the churches to bring them into the water of everlasting life.

If we don’t rush into the harvest, the harvest will rot; corruption will set in. This is why we have to pray for the prosperity of the word of righteousness in all the churches. Many of us came to this church (waters) by reason of a stirring that there is something more and the same thing can happen to ministers that they won’t be able to sleep or eat until they come into this gospel. Jesus Christ died for all and it is not ok if it’s only us that profit with these words.

Prayers:

Lord, let there be a mighty outpouring of the word of righteousness in all churches in Kwara State and beyond.

Lord, let there be an extension of Your hand of love to all churches.

Lord, let there be an expansion and spread of the word of righteousness in all churches and territories.

John 4:35-38

Say not ye, there are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold, I say unto you, lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. And herein is that saying true; one soweth, and another reapeth. I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.

We belong to the reapers’ generation. If the Lord raises us all as ministers of righteousness, we are still not enough. We need many ministers and laborers for the purpose of the harvest. Prayer

Lord, send forth and raise many ministers into the harvest.

If we don’t have many ministers, there will still be corruption and rotting of the harvest .

Lord, cause Your labourers and ministers to have abundant entrance into the body of Christ.

Matthew 9:36

But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

‘As sheep having no shepherd’ means they have not yet become a people who can say ‘the Lord is my Shepherd’. The Lord cannot be our Shepherd outside making us to lie down in green pastures. For as much as many people have not come to the place of lying down in green pastures, they are still lost. The gospel of the Kingdom is the green pasture. A believer can walk through the green pasture but still not lie down in green pasture. Every believer who is not yet hearing the voice of the Son of God is not a sheep lying down in green pasture but is still lost.

Psalm 23:1-2

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.

Saul and David were both leading sheep before they were called. A laborer is a shepherd. A shepherd identifies with the sheep in their lowly estate to save them. 

Matthew 9:36

But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

Multitude are different from disciples, they can have access to miracles but not doctrine. We are praying that the Lord will raise men of sound doctrine.

Matthew 9:38

Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest.

The multitude is the harvest. There are many multitudes in the church that need to become disciples. Harvest is the conversion of multitude into disciples. 

Prayer

Lord Jesus, send forth Your host of labourers into Your harvest.

Colossians 4:12

Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

This is a labourer.

Interpretation of Tongues (1)

“Wake up, wake up and hear the sound of abundance. Wake up to this vision of My heart, wake up to the burning desire of My heart, wake up and bear My burdens until My vision is fulfilled. Let there be no lethargy, awake, wake up, you all awake, wake up, wake up and bear My burden. It is a burning burden, it is burning in My body, it is burning, so I bring again to you the Spirit that will cause you to burn with this burden. You must burn with this burden, burn with this passion, enough of your lethargy, of your ease, come up and bear My burdens. For it is My heart and grace is supplied, I have decided it is the time to show forth My mercy so grace is supplied to you to pray and to pray through, for many will be harvested. Lift up your eyes and see, for it is time no longer to be selfish, lift up your eyes and see My heart, see the brethren coming that I have given in this season," saith the Lord Jesus.

In Israel, the year of the jubilee is the time of redemption. 

Witness

This is the season of redemption and gates will be opened, chains will fall, I hear the shattering of chains. I hear the loud voice of ‘Let My people go.'

Moses was sent as a laborer for the deliverance of His people. More Moses' can be sent again to the body for the purpose of deliverance of His people.

Prayer

Lord, send forth Moses' into Your body again for the purpose of deliverance

Obadiah 1:17

But upon Mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.

Esau profaned His birthright, which is what multitudes do. When Jesus raised the standard, multitude departed but His disciples stayed.

John 6:66-68

From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

Prayers:

Lord, cause Your people to follow not for the purpose of affinity like the multitudes but for the purpose of the everlasting gospel as Your disciples.

Lord, commission and send for Moses again into Your body. Send forth laborers into Your harvest.

2 Peter 3:11-12

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

A people can hasten unto the coming of the Lord.

Matthew 24:1-2

And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and His disciples came to Him for to shew Him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, see ye not all these things? Verily I say unto you, there shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Matthew 24:14

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

'This gospel' from the scripture above refers to the gospel Jesus was preaching and it shall be preached to all nations before the end comes.The doctrine of Christ covers the curriculum of righteousness and peace. The end will not come until the gospel has been preached. This means that this world will continue to be, until a people partner with the Lord Jesus Christ to bring the day of the Lord into actualization.

Matthew 24:14

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

This doctrine has been preached before but didn’t get to it's fullness. This is a season again upon the earth where the gospel of salvation is preached after thousands of years which shows that the end is actually near. There must be a people raised for this gospel to spread and prosper.

Prayer

Lord, command prosperity to the gospel of everlasting life in this season and cause it to spread like wild fire in all nations and countries.

Matthew 24:14

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

‘Nations’ mean ethnic groups. This means there will be all kinds of ethnic groups but there will be the ethnic group of the everlasting gospel. This is a people who cannot be traced down to any other ethnic groups but will only be seen as the ethnic group of God.

Prayer

Lord cause there to be prosperity of the gospel of everlasting life in all nations and countries.

Message Begins

As we pray for harvest, there will be a preparation of the heart before the harvest can become a reality.

John 4:31-34

In the mean while His disciples prayed Him, saying, Master, eat. But He said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought Him ought to eat? Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of Him that sent Me, and to finish His work.

Jesus had another meal which was to do the will of the Father that sent Him.

John 4:35

Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest. Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

We are the laborers that the Lord will be sending to the harvest. We must settle it in our prayers that we are the answer to the laborers that are going to be sent to the harvest. In places where our pastors may not be able to go to, the Lord has strategically placed us for such purpose.

Ephesians 5:14

Wherefore He saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

This is the message the Lord is sending us with. 

Proverbs 10:5

He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.

 John 4:35

Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest. Behold, I say unto you, lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

Harvest in proverbs is linked with a son; it is possible that a son can sleep. When a father is not at home there is an assurance that nothing in the house will go wrong because he has a grown up son unlike when it is a young child left in the house; such a father will have unrest.Those who will make the enemies His footstool are His sons or His children whom God has given to Him. God used the life of the prophets as a sign. Sons are signs. Normally a son is not expected to be asleep during the harvest. Harvest time is the time to be awake. It is possible to have a grown son and he is asleep. To be asleep goes beyond being unaware of what the Lord is doing. Words like death and drunkenness are synonymous with sleep.

1 Thessalonians 5:7

For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

These are characteristics of things synonymous with sleep. Most people sleep at night because it is orchestrated by a force of nature. We are not supposed to be asleep as a son during harvest. We must hear what the Lord is saying. We must look further into what it means to be asleep and things that shows that a man is asleep before you can say that you are not asleep in the time of harvest. We are the labourers we are praying for. Our prayer is that the Lord will awaken us from sleep.

Romans 13:11-13

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

Ephesians 5:14

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

The first light we will communicate to the multitude is not everlasting life but Christ. We cannot feed someone with strong meat when such has not been fed with meat. When we meet with a person with these words, we are saying ‘awake o sleeper’ and saying this must mean that we are also awake.bWhat the Lord is saying is that before we go and give these words to them, we ourselves must be awake. The Lord wants our eyes to be single in this season, and this has everything to do with sleep. To slumber is to sleep. It is the desire of the Lord first of all that there is an alarm of the Spirit to awaken us, so that we can detach ourselves from the realm of the dead. There are many things that makes a believer to fall asleep.

Hebrews 12:1

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2 Corinthians 6:17

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

The 'unclean thing' in the scripture above is the world. The world goes beyond our engagement with it. The world can be with a person on his bed; in meditation and thoughts. Before God can yank a soul from the world, a lot of work has to be done. From the scriptures, we can see people who completed the curriculum of Christ and still turned from the way. The issue of the world is not something that is dealt with in the curriculum of Christ.

1 John 2:15

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in Him.

In the scripture above, Apostle John was addressing believers in the gospel of Everlasting Life. 

It is the desire of God that He releases laborers.

Hebrews 12:12-13

Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

There is no way God will bring any other people to the harvest who are not His people; it will be through His people. Many people are still in the religion of holding onto Christianity because they don’t want to go to hell but in their living you can see that their life doesn’t measure up, this is because such a soul has been exposed to the painting of him playing with hell if he doesn't choose Jesus. It is the desire of the Lord that we show them the life of the light.

Matthew 6:22

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

Sleep is synonymous with many things and it is a major feature of the night. This also means that sleep is related to darkness. What differentiates day from night is the appearance of darkness. Sleep involves interaction with issues of night and darkness.

Matthew 6:22

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

Luke 11:34-36

The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness. Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness. If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.

2 Peter 1:19

We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

Luke 11:36

If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.

'Having no part dark' is a soul or a son that is fully awake. As long as there are parts that are still dark, the soul is still not fully awake. The Lord won’t just use 'anything' anymore; this is no longer the season for that. It is a season of ‘if any man purge himself’.

2 Timothy 2:21

If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

This is the season where we must trust the Lord to Iluminate our darkness. The way the Holy Spirit will bring us to the place of no part dark is by engagement through speakings. There must be a readiness and preparation of the heart to do the speakings.It is he that knows the master’s will and doesn’t prepare His heart that will be beaten. Part of the preparation for the heart is through our responses. The Lord will check the heart preparation and responses of the heart before He can send such a son to the harvest. We have to stretch and press.

Isaiah 1:19

If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

Philippians 3:14

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

The things the Lord is asking of us will never be convenient for our flesh. There will not be a time whereby the things He asks us to do will be convenient for our flesh. It is time to use our will to obey the Lord.

Romans 7:23

But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

Romans 13:14

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

We must not be passive in obedience nor make provision for the flesh to fulfil the lust thereof. We must not justify ourselves in hearing only but also in doing. The Lord wants us to go beyond hearing the word and being passive. Until we begin to actively engage the word, we are still asleep. We are coming to a place where through the preparation of the heart, every counsel of the Lord is obeyed and done according to God’s will. The Holy Spirit will only indite our hearts and counsel us. He will not force us to obey. It is through the preparation and readiness of the heart to respond to the counsels and leadings He may bring.

‘No part dark’ is also said to be ‘no sleep at all’. A little sleep is also called a little slumber.

Proverbs 6:9-11

How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.

The reason why a son who sleeps in harvest makes the Lord ashamed is not because the Lord is selfish but because of the danger such a person will come into as a result of the sleep. The issue of sleep is more dangerous for any believer.bThe thief is not one who takes and goes but he kills and destroys too. A compromise can eat deep unto destruction. The intention of the thief is that all of the Lord’s investments are stolen and the believer becomes empty.

One of the signs of a soul that has not yet come to the place of no part dark is sleep.

1 Thessalonians 5:7

For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

’No part dark’ is like saying ‘no part asleep’

2 Corinthians 6:17

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you

Walking honestly as in the day is the opposite of the night. A person who is asleep or is of the night will exhibit the characteristics of the night. 

1 Thessalonians 5:7

For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

Part of the characteristics of a believer who is asleep is drunkenness. This is not physical alcohol consumption because such should not be once named among us. Drunkenness is often referred to as a believer’s interaction with the world because the world has wine.

Luke 12:34

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Drunkenness has to do with heart’s interaction with the world. The world is our engagement. We are permitted to charge but not overcharge; using the world but not abusing it. A heart using the world and abusing the world will get overcharged. We will always interface with the world but we must not be overcharged by it.

Luke 21:34

And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

One of the features of sleep is when a soul is drunken. This is when such a soul knows the will of the Lord that is at stake but is unable to deny his hunger for the legitimate.

John 4:6-7

Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with His journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour. There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give Me to drink.

As we are living our normal life, we interact with people and deal with them based on the leadings of the Spirit. Paul always went to different places and interacted with people based on the leading of the Spirit. Food was legitimate for Jesus at the well but He was made to see the importance of the will of the Father. 

John 4:28-33

The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? Then they went out of the city, and came unto Him. In the mean while His disciples prayed Him, saying, Master, eat. But He said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought Him ought to eat?

John 4:41-44

And many more beli seeeved because of His own word; and said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard Him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world. Now after two days He departed thence, and went into Galilee. For Jesus Himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country.

Jesus knew that the woman at the well is like a key to an entire city. The response of our heart is paramount to Jesus. The people first heard the woman and believed before hearing the Lord Jesus and then many more believed after they heard Jesus themselves. Our heart must not be overcharged by the cares of this life to neglect the speakings and leadings of the Lord. A son is in a state of sleep when he is in a state of drunkenness as a result of much interaction with the world.The Lord expects that we shake off the sleep by keeping what is expected to be lightweight as light-weight; to ensure that the heart doesn’t become overwhelmed

2 Corinthians 4:17

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

The Lord expects that we shake off sleep and learn to keep what is lightweight as lightweight; to use the world and not abuse it. We struggle to be awake in the night because of the force of the night; this is why our hearts must not be overcharged with our interactions in the world.

Interpretation of Tongues (2)

“It's a call, it's a summoning, it's a call to souls, a call unto awakening, unto the manner of awakening that the season demands. It's a call unto the manner of awakening, manner of awareness that this season demands, this season demands that you'd be wide awake, responsive to that which I am saying, to that which I am doing. For I will bring nudges, leading in the line of these things. In this pathway, I will bring leading, dealings. You must be able to rightly interpret every speaking, every movement even every nudge that comes to you as one who is wide awake, readily awake. Therefore I say to you stay awake, seek to stay awake, fight to stay awake. For you see, the battle is a battle in the night but a people must stand awake having their light shed abroad, having their light lited up," saith the Spirit of the Living God.

Lightweight may not really look lightweight in the physical but in comparison with the weight of glory and joy set before us, it must be seen as lightweight. We must remind ourselves that the Lord cares for us and loves us no matter the challenges or circumstance we are going through. We must daily remember the goodness of the Lord towards us and in every situation, there is always a word that illuminates the heart and shines light in every situation. We must look out for the Lord’s word.

Luke 14:16-21

Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready. And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come. So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.

We must have the grace not to give excuses to the Lord. There may be legitimate issues of life but we must look out for the speakings and leadings of the Spirit so we don’t get drunken and overcharged with the issues of life. 

1 Corinthians 7:34

There is a difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.

Nothing must overcloud us in this season. The Lord is pouring out light upon us so that we are fully awake and able to illuminate others and until there is no dark part in us by virtue of the shinning forth of the Lord’s light in our hearts.

Prayers:

Lord, help our hearts to respond promptly to You against allowing legitimate things to become excuses or reasons why we don’t respond to You.

Lord, deliver us from a little sleep and a little slumber by illuminating our hearts. Help us to be active in obedience; to be willing and also obedient.

Lord help us deny ourselves to do Your will and bidding. Help us to live as children of the light and not darkness.

Lord, set us free from the sins that so easily beset us. Sanctify our hearts and bring Your fire in us.

Interpretation of Tongues (3)

“Thank You Lord Jesus, thank You for seeing eyes, thank You Lord Jesus. It is a feast for those who will overcome, it is a wisdom of overcomers, I have just declared to you, I have just shown you the wisdom of those who will overcome, to whom it will be said that they have overcome this world. It is a pathway, a wisdom of living, a way of living that guarantees freedom, true freedom even the true victory that I have caused to come to you. I have brought you victory, I have caused you to see the way of that victory; even the wisdom of that manner of victory."
