The New Man: His Identity, Nature and Promises
Love Nature of the New Man (Review): Part 8
Pastor Ayorinde Fakunle
Study Begins
Philemon 1:6
That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
We are giving attention to having accurate knowledge of those good things. The things we are learning are expressions of the new man that our spirit has come into and our soul is learning.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
Brethren’s Review
Sis. Toyin Akinwunmi
We talked about the characteristics of charity. Charity bears all things; our hearts need to be enlarged to bear the excesses of our brethren. We are not to only endure it but enjoy it. Also, charity is a wisdom.
Bro. Ibukunoluwa Alabi
Charity thinketh no evil; in charity we are not supposed to think evil of others. In charity, we learn to accept the good that is done to us and not think there is an ulterior motive behind it. When someone does something for us, we should not think that the person is doing it to collect something from us.
Pastor Ayorinde Fakunle
Last week, we learnt so much about exercising ourselves in godliness.
Sis. Itunu Oladayo
We were taught that charity rejoiceth not in evil but in truth. It was emphasized that we should not be passive when iniquity is being done but rather, we should frown at it, and not be indifferent about it. Based on the example given last week concerning our relationship in the workplace, there was someone who always does something wrong in my workplace; what I do is to try to always chip in the truth when such things are done.
Sis. Gbemi Adeleye
The teachings that have been coming to us have been making one more sober. In the course of the study the Lord has been helping one to be temperate. Someone did something that was quite rude, the normal reaction will be to say something or react but the Holy Ghost told me to forbear it.
Pastor Ayorinde Fakunle
In the course of this study, the Lord will bring situations and circumstances for us to exercise ourselves in what we are hearing.
Introduction
The four natures - bear all things, hope all things, endures all things, believes all things - are the positive energy of charity. ‘Charity faileth not’ is the seal of it all.
11. Charity Believeth All Things
Numbers 14:24
But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.
Joshua 14:8-9
Nevertheless my brethren that went up with me made the heart of the people melt: but I wholly followed the LORD my God. And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children's for ever, because thou hast wholly followed the LORD my God.
He was able to do that because he had another spirit. Charity believes all things that the Holy Ghost reveals per time.
John 16:12-15
I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
This ministry of the Holy Ghost showing all things of the Father will not be possible for a soul that has not come to charity.
1 Corinthians 3:1-2
And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
Hebrews 4:2
For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
Hebrews 5:11-14
Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Full age is charity age. Charity is that which enables a man to believe when the Holy Spirit brings the further revelation of the things of God.
Psalm 84:5-7
Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them. Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools. They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.
Romans 4:17-21
(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
By the time Caleb and the other elders went to spy the land, they gave the report of what they actually saw. But the strength and inward persuasion by which Caleb could declare that they could take the land was because he had another spirit. That spirit is the spirit of Christ, which is charity. We have always seen charity as giving and receiving but charity is a spirit that God gives to allow a man to journey into fuller revelation of the Father.
Charity is not suspicious, critical and judgmental. A person who is critical of others has issues believing himself.
Titus 1:15
Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
The pure as described in the above scripture is the pure in heart; it is a man that has a heart of flesh. Defilement is what produces hardness of heart.
Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
These are the boundaries of thoughts of a man in charity. A man in charity uses these as a wall for his thoughts. Anything outside of these things, he doesn't allow himself to stay on it. There is nothing in this verse about evil motives from others. It is evil to assign evil motives to people’s actions towards us. Charity is discerning; charity has judgment. When the Lord knows that your heart is pure, He will always guide you. Even when a person fools you, the Lord will vindicate you because He knows that you committed yourself out of a pure heart.
12. Charity Hopeth All Things
Romans 5:2-5
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
A man who is standing in grace (charity) is one who can hope.
Colossians 1:27
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
A man cannot hope for glory until Christ is formed in him.
Ephesians 3:16-19
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
No believer automatically has Christ indwelling in his heart. This faith is doctrine.
Galatians 4:19
My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
Until Christ is formed in you, you cannot hope for glory. Charity has the capacity to hope for all things - things of the Father and of God.
Habakkuk 2:3
For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Hebrews 10:22-27
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
Wilful sin is sin committed by a man whose eyes have been enlightened. Wilful sin is when a man has liberty to choose between life and death and he willfully chooses death.
Psalm 27:1-4
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
Psalm 27:13
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
From the above scripture, why he could be confident was not because there was no shaking within but because he believed to see the goodness of the Lord.
Psalm 27:14
Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
Ability to say, ‘I will wait on the Lord though He tarries.’ is charity.
Psalm 130:5
I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
The Word is his anchor; this is a charity man speaking.
Luke 1:36-38
And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible. And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
The angel knew that the news he brought to Mary will never be possible with man; it had not happened before her and it will not happen after her. Her response was one of belief.
Luke 1:38
And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
This is charity’s response. It is charity for you to take God at His Word.
2 Corinthians 4:13
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
Charity believes that every believer is a potential heir of Christ and should be loved and honoured. Charity has hope that the love of God can save the worst of sinners if he believes. A man who was called from his mother’s womb persecuted the church. There are terrorists now who has God’s call upon their lives. Charity believes that God can save the worst of sinners. We must not write anyone off. They cannot believe if there is no preacher. Their hope is in our hands; if we write them off, we can write them off to hell.
1 Corinthians 10:12
Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
Luke 17:10
So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
You don't see your obedience as a reason to boast. That attitude can make the offering unacceptable. A self-righteous man is one that has confidence in himself.
Philippians 3:2-3
Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
Charity never gives up on a brother.
Matthew 26:33-34
Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended. Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
Matthew 26:75
And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.
John 21:15-19
So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.
Peter truly loved Jesus; even when he said he will never be offended, he was sincere. He denied Jesus because of the power of the night. The love had to be tried to make it refined. It doesn’t matter how often someone has failed and you have seen his errors persistently; charity believes the best of such a person. Charity believes that God is at work in himself and others. Charity does not boast that he is better.
Philippians 1:6
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
God is at work. A building undergoing construction does not usually look like the blueprint; it will take someone who knows what he is doing to know that he is building according to the blueprint. We must have grace to see the work of God in people’s lives, even when it doesn't look like it.
13. Charity Endureth All Things
Matthew 10:22
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
Matthew 24:13
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Charity endures trials, tribulations and difficult circumstances of life patiently.
James 1:2-4
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
2 Timothy 2:3-12
Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully. The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits. Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things. Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel: Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound. Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
2 Timothy 4:5
But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
Hebrews 10:32-37
But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions; Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used. For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance. Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
Even after doing the will of God, we still need to do patience.
1 Peter 2:20-21
For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
His steps here is that He suffered for us; we will also suffer. The path of the Lamb from beginning to the end is the path of sufferings.
Genesis 29:20
And Jacob served seven years for Rachel; and they seemed unto him but a few days, for the love he had to her.
The suffering of seven years was as few days because he loved the woman; how about a man who loves the Lord? A man who loves the Lord will not see the stretchings.
2 Corinthians 4:17
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
When he compared the afflictions to the weight of glory, he esteemed them as light. A man in whom charity is formed, irrespective of how much pain he has to go through in the pathway of the promise, will have grace to endure it for the hope.
Hebrews 12:2
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
He sees the suffering as momentary, compared to eternal Life.
Job 13:15
Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
James 5:11
Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
Job came to the end of the Lord. He endured - he came to the end of the duration, dealings and process. Job came to the tender mercy of the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 3:2-4
And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of God, and our fellowlabourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith: That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto. For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.
Paul let the churches know that there are sufferings and afflictions on the pathway. That was the trouble of the children of Israel; maybe their hearts would have been helped if they knew the curriculum. Some messages that get people born again are not the whole truth. ‘Come to Jesus, your life will be better’ - if such a person doesn’t see changes in the first few weeks, he gets offended. Such did not know the whole counsel of God - in that He died, we died, we were buried together with Him. We inherited His experiences so that we will inherit His life.
Matthew 13:20-21
But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
The seed attracts tribulations.
A man in whom Christ is formed is a stature; he is the one that can be brought to the New Testament. A new testament believer is a Christ,
Psalm 50:5
Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
It takes priests to offer sacrifice, and knowledge is what makes priests. It takes Christ to offer sacrifices acceptable to God.
Hebrews 12:7
If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
Dealings are identities of sons; you know a son not by confession but by dealings.
Hebrews 12:8
But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
There are many bastards who call themselves sons. Dealings are evidence of sonship. When you think of yourself as a son, think of dealings.
14. Charity Never Faileth
Philippians 3:15
Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
Ephesians 4:14-15
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
The perfect man is the charity man, and charity never fails.
Ephesians 4:13
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
The perfect man is the fully formed new man.
1 Corinthians 13:13
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
2 Timothy 2:16-19
But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
Matthew 7:23
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Christ was never formed in them; they were never found.
2 Corinthians 4:3
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
They who are lost are those in whom Christ has not been formed. They are born again but they are still lost. If Christ has not been formed in you, God has not found you. To be found is that you have been rooted upon the Rock; if you are not on that Rock, God cannot see you.
2 Peter 1:7-8
And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1:9-11
And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
Charity is never barren nor unfruitful.
John 15:1-2
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Purging comes by trials and persecutions. Peter’s trial of love was for him to become a rock. To bring forth more fruit is in the next season of life. Charity never fails; it has come to the place where it can live above excuses. Charity knows, and it can do because he knows. Charity is the state of a newly created spirit of a believer; it is also the estate of life called Christ.
Conclusion
Charity is produced by our acknowledgment of all good things which are in us in Christ Jesus, and by our walk in the Spirit.
Philemon 1:6
That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
We need to know.
Galatians 5:16-18
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Knowledge is liberty; it gives you the right to choose. If you are led by the Spirit, you are no longer governed by the law of sin and death. To be led of the Spirit is to be governed by the Spirit.
Galatians 5:22-25
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
These things are true and real. We can become them and we should become them fast. We should be a people who are deliberately given to following the leading of the Spirit. Every time the Holy Ghost leads, He leads in the pathway of charity.
Prayer:
Lord, we thank You for the help we have received. We ask for grace to come to ‘Charity never faileth’; let us come to the full formation of charity.
Interpretation of Tongues (1)
I hear in my spirit, "This is a come, this is an invitation to come, this is a message to comers, this is a making of comers, this is to make you a comer who must believe that God is. I am assembling you in the realm of the comers, I am bringing you to a place where you can take step to come, where you can walk even the walk of comers. For he that cometh to God must believe that he is and he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him; therefore I say come. For every time you remember this, everytime you put yourself under the governance of the Spirit, even of this law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus; you are coming. Therefore I say come, for I wait to receive comers."
Pastor Tosin Gabriel
Everything we are hearing is to reveal the nature of the new man; this is the nature of our spirits. It is not what we are praying to have; it is in us by our spirit. This is the new creation; what God created. These things are being painted for our souls to see what he ought to be but he has not yet become. The newly created spirit is a gift; we are to learn what is in us, created in us by His Spirit in our spirit. The essence of this teaching is to bring to our awareness to what is already in us that we must begin to use. We cannot have them if we don’t use them. Start using.
God is waiting for us on the mountain; He will not come down. He already came down by the Holy Ghost. If we refuse to ascend, after a while, even the Holy Ghost will leave us there. The Holy Ghost humbled himself.
John 14:16
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
The Holy Ghost came down to our level; His aim is to take us to the mountain. We have to climb the mountain. A spiritual man will do valiantly in the spirit because of what he is seeing. God is more than a billion dollars. We should use these things we are hearing well. These things may be heights now but as we climb, we will scale the heights and they’ll be under our feet. This is the foundation; the feet of God. It is our first calling; there is still the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
The new man is the man compatible with God’s purpose. The new man is not yet God’s purpose, it is building for purpose.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
The man of God is the charity man; he is the man God can use. There are still good works ahead of him. We should use these things to become compatible for God’s purpose. If you want God to lay hands on you and build you as His edifice, start using these things and use them well. The soul doesn’t want to do these things because it will make one look stupid. Suspicion is the instrument of the old man. Charity is not stupid; it has judgment but charity does not assume. Charity proves all things; you keep showing goodness till the person proves otherwise. To be made a little child is in doing charity.
Matthew 18:4
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Our spirits also have charity towards our souls, despite the failures and weaknesses of our souls. Our soul fails but our spirit never gives up. The day the spirit gives up on the soul, they will be separated eternally. We must believe that God is working on us. Love your neighbour as yourself; if we can be patient with our brother, we should be patient with ourselves. We should believe in what God is doing in us, we should not give up ourselves; our spirit and the Holy Spirit is not giving up on us. If we fail, we should not stay there; move on. Grace is involved; we will attain (Amen).
1 Corinthians 13:7
beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
These four natures are the exercising of charity to make it perfect. The realm of all things is the realm of perfecting charity in preparation for all things of God. We must pay attention to all things in charity. Enter ‘all things’ season - bear all things, believe all things, hope all things, endure all things. God cannot find us if Christ is not formed. Adam failed God’s purpose, and because of his failure, every man failed. God created the new man so that He can carry out His purpose. When the new man is formed in us, then we can be found to do God’s will (Acts 13:22). Curriculum of Christ is our first training. A Christ man is the man that God will find.
