Exhortation

The teachings of the Lord are tongues. He taught His disciples in parables; those parables have to be interpreted. It took Paul and the other Apostles to interpret the parables. Rev. Busuyi’s teachings in the just concluded ETS are both tongues and interpretation; teachings and interpretation.

Divers trials and divers temptations are our first and last works. We will be tried; we cannot escape it. Nobody will sit on the throne without being tried.

Hebrews 4:15

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Jesus was tried in all points. The essence of trial is to prove us that we will not sin. The goal of every trial is to prove that we will not sin. When we fall into any temptation that means we have sinned, but when we overcome a temptation it means we did not sin.

There is nothing wrong in calling people father, it is just respect and honour.

Matthew 23:9

And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

If we are to call no man father, this also includes our earthly father. Jesus did not mean what we are thinking; He did not say we should not have respect.

Interpretation of Tongues 1

"I need you to see this right, I want you to see this right lest the power of the night takes you over, lest things that have been defined becomes redefined against that which the Lord has defined. For you see, if any man travails to birth you into Christ; he is your father, she is mother. By the right of travail, such is a father, a mother and he should be reckoned so. You are being born by the travail of some persons, you are being born by their travail, you were born in the Holy Ghost, in Christ by their travail, you are also being born in everlasting life by travail. Therefore, honour them who travail as such to see you birthed, to see you born afresh even again and again", saith the spirit of the Lord.

Exhortation Continues

1 Corinthians 4:15

For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

2 Corinthians 5:16

Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

Jesus loved Peter because even though he was older than Jesus, he still called Him Lord, and followed Him wholeheartedly.

Interpretation of Tongues 2

"It's heard in heaven because even your angel stands before the Father. Look to the face of God for this same thing that has been prayed, that has been desired, that in living you may live and come into the realm of the living indeed. Even I Jesus stand before the Father to see that the desires of your heart are met; that these glorious desires, honourable desires are met. It's just a token of My thank you; it's just to say thank you for I see those hidden labours; so, I say thank you. It's a token of My thank you and I will keep you till the end of time", saith the Lord.

Message Begins

It is not heaven's fault but our fault if we don't make it. The Father didn't just give things but He gave persons, and the persons He gave are the most precious to Him. Holy Spirit was given based on much intercession, not by our intercessions. None of us knew that we needed the Holy Spirit, it is Jesus that said it is for our good.

John 14:16

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

The Holy Spirit giving is so that He may abide with us forever. ‘He may’ meaning that the way we handle Him will determine if He will abide with us forever. It took much intercession for the Holy Spirit to be sent down. One of the ways we know we have the Holy Spirit indwelling us is that it came with evidence of speaking in another tongue. Holy Spirit dwells in our spirit, and He has a very vital assignment to do. The gap that is existing between the generation ahead and the generation now is the gap of fellowship and the Holy Spirit. The gap that is existing between fathers and the generation now in attaining the will of God is also the gap of fellowship. A man can walk with God to a point that He will leave God behind. He can walk to a point of familiarity that he will leave God behind.

Knowledge can never replace the place of fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Our Lord Jesus secret is that He was in the Holy Ghost till the end. His secret is the Holy Spirit; He was relating with the Father through the Spirit. The Father is Spirit, the Holy Spirit is Spirit.

Mark 1:12

And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness.

As at this point Jesus was not yet a quickening spirit, so He had to depend on the signal the Holy Spirit gives Him from the Father. All of us can know the Lord intimately, but aside from attack there is also  some negligence on our part. Everything Jesus experienced in the wilderness was in the spirit. Trial will be useless if the Spirit is not involved, such a person will fail woefully. None of us know everything.

Romans 8:14

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

This is not the Spirit of Christ but Spirit of God. Even when we say we are doing everlasting and eternal life, the Holy Spirit will still have to lead us. We can never be a Son of God without the leading of the Spirit. There is no point a person will say that he has graduated from the leading of the Spirit to the leading of the Lamb. There is a point we graduate to hearing the lamb, but we hear the lamb in the Holy Spirit. It is the Spirit that makes us see the path of the lamb.

Revelation 14:4

These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

The Spirit leads us in the path of the lamb. We will get to a challenging point in our life that the Spirit will tell us ‘your Lord was here too’.

Philippians 2:5

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

1 John 2:6

He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

There is a walk Jesus already walked that we also need to walk in. The Spirit will lead us to walk in the footsteps of Jesus. We will come to a phase in our growth level that we will begin to see the path of Jesus, it is not as though we will graduate from the Holy Spirit and bid Him farewell.

John 14:16

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

'Forever' in the scripture above means that this is how He will be with us forever. Familiar spirit is a spirit that is familiar to our paths, but our familiar spirit should be the Holy Ghost.

Psalm 139:3

Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.

The Holy Spirit will never at any point be irrelevant in our journey. We can never prosper in the leading of the Spirit outside fellowship of the Spirit. Doctrine is what Holy Ghost uses to bring personal leading to us. The Holy Spirit is also the one in charge of doctrine. When doctrine comes, He takes it and brings it to our personal experience.

The problem most people have is the fellowship of the Spirit; spending quality time with the Holy Spirit. Another problem is that one can have the culture of everlasting life, which is a good kingdom culture, but then we can socialize it by having just the language. The fault every individual is having is the fault of fellowship of the Spirit.

There is a negligence we must never enter.

There are two parts to knowledge: the first  is epignosis, which is to have comprehension and detailed knowledge of something. We need epignosis because we cannot please God outside of detailed knowledge. Epignosis is what gives us details of the building. Gnosis is part knowledge while epignosis is full knowledge.

Colossians 1:9

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

God said concerning David that he will do all His will, and not just His will. We need epignosis to do all His will. Epignosis comes by hearing doctrine, hearing teachings, going for meetings and streaming online; such a person is prospering in epignosis.

The second side of knowledge is called Ginosko. Epignosis outside of ginosko will not profit us properly. The secret of epignosis is thirst, while the secret of ginosko is ‘love’. Another word for ginosko is fellowship or intercourse. A man can have knowledge of something and not experience it. The secret of experience is embedded in ginosko, it is ginosko that brings what we have been taught to reality. A man can know eternal life by doctrine and not know it by experience and fellowship; we can fellowship with eternal life even as we have knowledge of it.

1 John 1:3

That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

Matthew 24:12

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

The 'love' in the above scripture is the love of everlasting works. There is no one that this cannot attack.

1 John 1:1

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

This is the progression of knowledge. As we are hearing, we are having knowledge. To look upon, is higher than seeing with our eyes. The first two (which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes) is epignosis, the last two (which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled) is ginosko. If we stop at hearing and seeing we can have epignosis and not have ginosko. Our challenge is our transcending from epignosis to ginosko. A person can know God by knowledge (epignostically) and not know Him by experience (ginostically). What makes us do is ginosko, we can know and teach and yet not do.

Matthew 5:19

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Acts 1:1

The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

The greatest in the kingdom is he that do and teach. Ginosko is the running engine of attainment.

John 17:3

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

To know in the above scripture is ginosko ginosko here is intercourse, it means a man can have intercourse with God. Devotion can become mechanical. When a man has sexual relation with his wife and has sexual intercourse with an harlot, this act differs; one sleep to get money, and the other did it to please her husband. The secret of getting eternal life is that we want to please God.

Most times to some people the gift looks more precious in the heart than the giver. So it's possible to play harlotry with doctrine; doing it for gain. We should learn to see God as everything. Eternal life is not a thing, but a person. Sometimes we can race for eternal life because we do not want to die. We should do everything based on love, love should be the driving point of our life in doctrine. If we are doing doctrine and we do not fellowship we will come to a point where we can draw back. Survival is for lovers. If they do not mix our epignosis with ginosko we will not find the propelling force to continue.

2 Timothy 4:10

For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.

Demas' problem was love, not this present world. Demas knew doctrine, and was a fellow worker with Paul, they suffered together. He had heard the message of laying hold of eternal life, but the love issue was a problem. Daily devotion is a problem because we have love issues. Satan can attack our love but it still boils down to love issues. What we should all visit is our love for the Holy Ghost. The person we love, we will spend time with Him.

1 Corinthians 8:1

Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.

Knowledge puffs up, but charity builds up. There is the possibility of knowledge puffing someone up, which everlasting life teaching will not permit because they believe there is love involved. Every teaching demands life from us, every teaching always ends up in love.

1 Corinthians 8:2-3

And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.  But if any man love God, the same is known of him.

God knows those that love Him; to be known of God is to love God. Nobody will have a life outside of love. We need to exercise ourselves in love.

Matthew 24:15

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

This is an operation that will stand in the church, and when it does, the whole purpose is to eat us up from the inside. A person can be hearing doctrine and yet is being eaten up on the inside, which will not show immediately. Devotion is our survival point. The season that you are not doing devotion, you are already going. One can still be coming to church, and such is going. Anybody can be captured here, Satan does not have respect for anybody. When you miss devotions and you don’t feel like anything is wrong with it, and you are still coming to church such a person is deceiving his or her own self. Teaching strengthens devotion and does not take our devotion away, any teaching that takes our devotion away is anti-christ.

Mark 1:35

And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

This is Jesus while doing everlasting life. Even though Jesus had the Spirit without measure, He still had time for His devotion. Our devotion is our secret place.

Our trials are personalised, and we have customised natures also. Every trial is in alignment with our nature, so every trial comes to deal with our nature. That we are among the brethren, should not rob us from our secret place. Our brethren are our clothes, but we must have inner cloth that the Holy Spirit will give us. We should never replace the Holy Spirit with brethren.

Our personal devotion should not prevent us from coming for church meetings, such an act is foolishness. There are some things the Holy Ghost will not teach us personally. We need brethren in our journey, our brethren are also Holy Ghost brethren.

Acts 20:28

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

The Holy Ghost made them overseers to teach us.

Holy Ghost teaches us practical application of doctrine, He brings the message home to us. Any personal instructions that the Holy Spirit gives are for our souls, and not compulsorily and necessarily for others.

Our phones can be death to us. Most times the first thing we do when we wake in the morning is to check our phone before we even do our devotions, that phone is death. If we cannot master our phone, we cannot master righteousness. Technology is an advent of hell and death. We must have the wisdom to put our phones away. Anything that will stand between you and God, the Holy Ghost will handle it.

It is in daily devotion with the Holy Spirit that you propel upward. Before we sleep, we should try to examine ourselves; we should check whether we had communion/fellowship that day or not, whether we gained anything that day. Every fellowship with our brethren should lead us to pray. If it is doctrine we are discussing, then it should propel us to pray. Good brethren life should be edification.

Hebrews 10:24

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

We should edify ourselves in faith and in love, that is how the atmosphere of Holy Ghost is generated. Most of the Fathers may not have the doctrine of everlasting life, but they have a life.

BECON should not affect our devotion.

When we love the Holy Ghost, He loves us too.

Prophecy

Tell people to lay aside their idols

Message Continues

Your new property can be an idol. Our phones can become a bad habit, that when there is no battery on our phone we are not okay. Even data can be an idol. Every technology has an end in view. We should use technology with the Holy Spirit’s guide. We should not let our day pass without devotion. Our corporate prayers and gathering is not our devotion; these should give us a flow and strength into our own personal devotion. When we stream and listen to teachings, the place we get the oil to do is from our personal devotion. Daniel's secret in Babylon was his devotion.

Daniel 6:10

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

He did not just start at that time, that was the way he lived his life and he never changed. We should also not replace teachings in church with our bible study; the bible study will make the teaching come closer to us.

The obediences of our fathers are not obedience in milk; milk is for babes, and babes cannot obey some levels of commandments. Some healings are not gifts of the Spirit or prayers but as a result of obediences. The way a husband handles his wife now is his secret to obtaining everlasting life. Do not say you have anything until the Holy Ghost has worked it into you. Doctrine makes leading prosper. For instance, it is in leading that Holy Ghost can tell a couple they will not have a child, that they should adopt children, and they will love them as their own. If you cannot bear it, they will not tell you; it is as you walk with the Holy Ghost, He can trust you.

There are some people that it is their job that is not helping them to have time with the Lord; it is not a must you must continue with that job. There is no do or die in these things, the only do or die is Eternal Life.
